Internal links

Internal links are also good for page ranking inside your web site, but less valuable then backlinks, internal links used in all the web sites to link together all the content on your web site.

What is internal links? - internal links are within your web site that glues or bridge all the web pages together, it is usually a navigation menu which displays most of your links to other pages that are valuable to you where you want users to got to.

Navigation menu is where usually have all the links or like a site map to all the pages in your web site, is where many web sites owners make a mistake not showing all the links to web pages on the home page. The valuable pages you trying to rank high for in search engines should be easily accesable from the home page of the web site.

So basically more internal links pointing to a specific page will make it rank higer which means that google think that page with most links linking to it is important to you and it will get indexed faster.

It's also good to have internal links in your content because it is surounded by rich text which is a natural linking to specific page that you want to rank higher.

Also having a boundaries is goot not to over populate your most valuable web pages with internal links, google like to see your web site clean and profesional. I would recomand having one or two links in rich. Having a site map on your web site is a plus, when google robots reach that page it will index all the pages in your site map, and it also good for user to navigate easily.

Having links that linking out-side is also good for search engines, you don't want google to think that your web site internal link farm, and like to see you backing up your articles with out source.
